Straight answers before you book

If you are unsure what type of visit you need, send the details and photographs. We will help you identify the sensible next step.

Can you quote from photographs?

Clear photographs and a good description often let us provide an initial assessment or budget range. Some work still needs a visit, inspection or testing before a fixed quotation can be issued.

Are you qualified and insured?

Yes. Tynevolt is run by qualified working electricians and carries appropriate business insurance. Relevant work is tested and the applicable certificate or report is provided.

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes. Smaller repairs, new fittings, additional sockets and alterations are welcome alongside larger installations, testing and commercial work.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across Newcastle, Gateshead, North and South Tyneside, Ponteland, Northumberland, Sunderland and surrounding areas of County Durham. Send your postcode and we will confirm coverage.

Does the online assessment confirm the installation is safe?

No. Photographs cannot replace electrical inspection or testing. If there is burning, smoke, arcing or immediate danger, switch off the supply only if it is safe to do so and contact an emergency electrician or the emergency services as appropriate.

Show us the job. We’ll make the next step clear.

Usually less than three minutes. No account needed.
