Pass on a job. Or bring us in to help.
Diary full? Need another pair of hands? Andrew and Glenn can discuss taking on a job you pass over, or supporting you with your own customer's work. Tell us which arrangement you need before we contact anyone.
01 / PASS A JOB TO US
A good introduction. A proper thank-you.
Introduce a genuinely new customer for Tynevolt to quote, contract with and invoice directly. You can earn £20 to £1,000 under the standard referral scheme once qualifying work is complete and fully paid.
No upfront registration or joining fee.
Ask the customer to mention your name at first contact, or introduce us with their permission.
We confirm the referral record and explain the reward calculation.
Minimum qualifying value £250. Labour charges plus material markup count; material purchase costs, VAT and at-cost third-party fees do not. New customers only. Full terms apply.
02 / KEEP YOUR CUSTOMER
Your relationship. Our agreed support.
Need help delivering a job? Discuss an agreed subcontract arrangement with us while retaining your customer relationship.
Agree scope, price, who quotes and invoices, and who speaks to the customer.
Agree customer protection in writing before any customer contact.
No automatic referral reward on top of subcontract earnings; any additional payment must be agreed beforehand.
Subject to availability, suitability and a separate written agreement. This is a discussion request, not a confirmed booking.
Protecting the relationship you have built.
For agreed support with your customer, we will record the customer, project, permitted contact and protection period before making an approach. During that agreed period we will not approach them for unrelated work or add them to our marketing without their permission. If they ask us about other work, we will discuss the appropriate handover with you, with their permission. Customers remain free to choose their contractor.
A direct referral means you are passing the job to Tynevolt. If you want to keep managing the customer, choose the support route and agree that first.
A reward already paid
£100
A £100 thank-you, already paid.
We have already paid £100 to an electrician who referred work to Tynevolt. The reward is for the introduction, not for a positive review.
An actual payment under the terms applying to that referral. Your reward depends on your qualifying project and applicable terms.

Give a prospective customer another option when you cannot take their job. We will check our capacity and suitability before accepting it.
You need support.
Discuss work needing two electricians, agreed cover or help delivering part of a project.
A different kind of job.
Ask about domestic or commercial electrical work, testing, EV charging or emergency lighting. We will confirm whether the scope is right for us.
A clear handover from the start.
We aim to acknowledge introductions by the end of the next working day. With the customer's permission, we keep you informed when contact is made and the job is booked. For qualifying referrals, we confirm the calculation and aim to pay within 14 days of meeting the payment conditions and receiving your payment details.
Where suitable opportunities arise, we are also happy to discuss passing work to reliable trade contacts. Reciprocal work is not guaranteed.
Three steps to a thank-you from us.
01 / MAKE THE CONNECTION
Pass our details on.
Share Tynevolt with a friend, neighbour or business contact. You don't need to be a customer yourself.
02 / GET THE CREDIT
Ask them to mention you.
They must give us your name when they first contact us, so we can recognise your introduction.
03 / RECEIVE YOUR REWARD
We do the work. You earn.
Once the qualifying project is complete and fully paid, we aim to pay your reward within 14 days of having your payment details.
What could your referral earn?
Illustrative reward, subject to the full terms
A few things to know.
Version 2 applies to introductions received after publication on 2 October 2026. Earlier introductions keep their original terms.
Individuals aged 18+. No self-referrals, including your own property or controlled business.
One reward per genuine new customer’s first project, not per property or invoice.
Referral identified at the customer's first contact.
Genuine introductions only. No reward for cancelled, unpaid or manipulated work.
Material purchase costs, VAT, refunds and at-cost third-party fees are excluded.
Maximum £1,000 per new customer/project. Defined refund and overpayment recovery rules apply.
Yes. Eligible individuals aged 18 or over can make genuine introductions without being existing Tynevolt customers. Businesses and ongoing commercial introducers should agree a separate arrangement with us first.
Can I introduce more than one customer?
Yes. There is no limit on genuine introductions of different new customers by an eligible individual. Each customer's first qualifying project has one reward capped at £1,000. Repeat jobs, multiple properties and split invoices do not create extra standard rewards.
Do I earn £100 on every £2,000 invoice?
No. The reward band uses qualifying value: labour charges plus material markup, excluding VAT, material purchase costs and at-cost third-party fees. For example, a £4,000 invoice excluding VAT with £1,000 of material purchase costs and no other exclusions has £3,000 qualifying value and earns £100, subject to the terms.
What if I recommend contractors for my employer or client?
Disclose the intended reward and obtain their written approval before the incentivised introduction. Secret commissions and improper procurement are excluded. Public-sector introductions need separate review. See section 20 of the full terms.
Can you help with my customer without taking over?
Discuss the support route with us first. We agree the customer relationship, work, payment, contact permissions and protection period in writing before customer contact. Subcontract support does not automatically earn a referral reward.
What should I send you first?
Tell us the type of job, broad location and whether you want to pass it over or retain your customer. Do not share customer details without permission. You can also ask the customer to contact us and mention your name at their first contact.
